TIMMY TWO-TONES
Affectionally known by its owner as "Timmy Two-Tones" this 84 GMC Pickup came in for some suspension and brake upgrades. We sourced some 2.5" CPP drop spindles, CPP full front brake kit including rotors and calipers, front 2" lowered springs, CPP shocks and our TCF Axle flip kit for the rear.
New upper and lower ball joints were replaced too, as it still had factory units.
For the rear we used our Diff Flip kit, designed to slip into the existing spring perch (which sits under the leaf spring) allowing the diff to sit ontop of the spring pack which can lower a leaf spring truck on average up to 6". This is a completely bolt in kit, no welding required and has an off-set mounting hole to centre the wheel in the opening after lowering.
We got a whopping 5" out of the front and 6" out of the rear of this squarebody GMC with plenty of suspension travel. It gave it an awesome stance and handles great now with its upgrades.
