"DROPPING JAWS & ALTITUDE"

Brett's Ridetech Revamp!

Brett came to us with his newely aquired 66 C10 Shortbed. This stunning truck had lowered coils and was riding a little rough as there wasnt much clearence left between diff and chassis. Luckily for Brett, the truck came with a extensive Ridetech Airbag kit upon sale, which consisted of tubular front a-arms, tubular trailing arms, centre x-member, Ridetech HQ Shocks, airbags, compressors, wiring and ECU, basically everything you need to get the truck on airbags.

Front a-arms and airbags installed, the kit also came with a Ridetech sway bar.

We were a big fan of the Ridetech touchscreen, it gave you 4 corner pressure and rideheight, tank pressure and could be calibrated with the touch of a button.

We fabricated a vented aluminium box to house his compressors, tank and ECU, which he ended up wrapping to match the exterior of the truck.

The kit went together smoothly, we ran into a small hurdle at the back of the truck which is typical on any c-notched truck either static dropped or airbaged, and that is the diff would hit the bed. We gave Brett the option to raise the timber bed, which we did at 60mm which gave him plenty of clearence and would allow him to drive the truck fully aired out.
