DROPPED DREAMS
As honest as they came, Kerry's 69 C10 was an absolute beaut! Daily driven truck we regularly see around our ways, this truck sports a Vortec headed small block and an automatic with overdrive, such a cool cruiser we loved to work on! Kerry asked us to get the truck sitting lower and just do a simple once over while we had it up on the hoist. Springs were supplied by CPP, we went with 3" drop coils up front and 4" in the back. Kerry didn't want to C-notch this truck (yet) it so it was important that we had it setup correctly to achieve correct suspension travel.
Coil springs were the factory units and showed signs of age, we ended up replacing his trailing arm bushes as they were showing the same signs.
New CPP lowered shocks were installed, we threw on some new u-bolts and fasteners as these have seen corrosion over time. We got exactly 3" drop in the front and a little over 4" in the back with plenty of suspension travel. We love the look of this truck and Kerry has reported how its tamed down the bounciness of the rear too, so happy cruising Kerry!
